Comparing the effects of ropivacaine and lidocaine associated with epinephrine on the heart rate, blood pressure, and amount of bleeding in patients candidate for cleft palate repair: A randomized clinical trial

Background and aims: This study was conducted to compare the effects of two compounds ropivacaine lidocaine associated with epinephrine on heart rate, blood pressure, bleeding rate in children undergoing general anesthesia for cleft palate repair surgery. Methods: In this study, 30 candidates surgery who were referred Mofid Children’s Hospital, affiliated Shahid Beheshti University Medical Sciences 2021, included by using convenience sampling method. The patients randomly divided into groups. Group 1 treated group 2 along epinephrine. data analyzed SPSS, version 22. Results: total, no statistically significant difference found between groups terms vital signs pressure 10 stages studied (P<0.05). There trend changes (P=0.381) (P=0.940). However, had significantly changed during both individually (P<0.001). (suction) (P<0.001) weight gases used (P=0.003) second higher than first group. Conclusion: No combined surgery, but more
